Glass wind chime

Japanese glass wind chimes, or fūrin, are delicate, hand-painted bells that create soft, soothing tones in the breeze. Typically used in summer, they feature a glass bell with a clapper and a small paper strip (tanzaku) that catches the wind. Fūrin are not only beautiful decorations but are also symbols of good fortune and cooling relief in Japan’s hot season, bringing both artistic beauty and a sense of calm to homes and gardens.
