The terms and conditions below govern the use of the OHAYŌ shop located at the web address www.ohayo.dk. The conditions adhere to the statutory regulations of the Danish Sale of Goods Act and other applicable Danish regulations concerning online consumer sales.
Payment
You can pay with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Visa-Electron, and American Express. Prices do not include payment or delivery charges. All prices can be displayed in DKK. The amount will be deducted from your account when the purchased item(s) leave our stock.
Security
You can safely use your credit card on our webshop. Our payment system uses 3D Secure—a global security standard verified by Visa and Mastercard.
Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation by email shortly after placing your order.
Prices
The price of each product is stated in DKK, excluding shipping costs but including the Danish VAT rate (25%) and all import taxes within the EU.
Local Taxes
Please note that local charges (customs duties, sales tax) may apply depending on your region and local customs regulations. These charges are your responsibility.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change product prices. The price of the product at the time of placing an order will remain valid for that specific order. However, we take reservations for any typographical errors.
Complaints and Faulty Delivered Goods
If you receive a faulty item or an item that does not match your invoice, please contact us promptly at ohayodk@gmail.com or by visiting our store. If your complaint is deemed justified, we will send you a replacement item with free shipping. If the item is out of stock, we will refund its price. For EU customers, if we cannot reach a solution, you may submit a complaint to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform via this link.
Shipping
All items are shipped by parcel post with DAO or DHL, so you can follow your package via track and trace from shipping until delivery. For packages delivered within Denmark, we use DAO, and your package will be delivered to the nearest DAO Parcelshop for pick-up. Once you receive the package, please inspect its contents. If the package and/or contents are damaged, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.
Returns
OHAYŌ is a small business offering unique vintage items, and our return policy reflects this. If you wish to return an item, we can provide a gift certificate or an exchange for other pieces in stock. The gift certificate is valid for one year. We do not offer cash refunds. Exchanges must be made within 14 days from the date you receive your order.
Please contact us at ohayodk@gmail.com if you wish to return an item. Remember to include your receipt. Returns are only accepted if the purchased items are returned in the same condition and quantity as received, meaning items must be unused. If a returned item shows signs of use that reduce its value, the right to return may be voided. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and OHAYŌ is not liable for returned packages lost in transit.

We cannot guarantee that all products shown are available when you place your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you by email as soon as possible.

Lack of Conformity
If the purchased items are damaged or do not conform to their description, please contact us at ohayodk@gmail.com. We will address legitimate complaints in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Complaints must be filed within a reasonable time after delivery. We will naturally refund shipping expenses related to a legitimate complaint.
